Dog Show News Spring 2008

Along with its role in the weekend dog show at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery, the Montgomery Kennel Club has raised funds to buy 34 animal resuscitation equipment for fire department trucks throughout the tri-county area. The masks fit multiple sizes, dogs, cats, and birds that firefighters might rescue during fires. Genie you did a great job.

Club Meeting Jan 21st,2009

The Tuscaloosa Kennel Club will have an AKC sanctioned conformation match on January 17, 2009.
It will be held at the Northport Community Center located at
2100 Park St.,
Northport, Alabama
There will be classes for :
Puppy 3-6 mos., 6-9 mos., 9-12 mos. And Adult
Time permitting there will be a Parade of Champions also.
Fees: $7.00
Entries will be taken beginning at 10:30, with judging to start at 11:30. Judge pending.

I'm the coordinator for the K9 College Cruise, an annual event sponsored by the Lancaster Kennel Club in Lancaster, PA. The K9 College cruise features seminars at sea on a variety of K9 topics, presented by a faculty of world-renowned experts. Breeders, exhibitors, and judges from all across the United States, Canada, and abroad attend the event each year.

Next year will be out 5th year for the K9 College Cruise. Our greatest challenge continues to be spreading the word about the event throughout the membership of all of our fellow AKC Clubs.

Aynsworth Cisco's Cool Breeze, better know as Cisco, wants everyone to know that she flew through the Excellent Jumpers with Weave course on Saturday, December 6. She was clean and fast. She qualified with a first place ribbon and a leg toward her title. Mom said she had a lot of almost "Q"s.
